Meet the NBJ Band

Don "Smitty" Smith
(Drums, Vocals) Talk with Smitty for a while and you will know that his first love is Jesus! Smitty has played in several bands thoughout his lifetime but it wasn't until he began to give his talents for the glory of the Lord that he found real joy. (It shows, doesn't it?) Smitty and his wife Carole serve together on the worship team at their church. Smitty is a painter by trade & runs his own company called "Smitty's Painting Company" (Very original).

David Spicer
(Bass Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Vocals) David is a funny guy, always looking for a place to get a corny joke in. He is a real Cornmeister! But seriously, David is a Professional Musician. He plays excellent Bass guitar and, with Smitty, lays down a serious rhythym track. David is also a fine Acoustic Guitar player which adds a new dimension to NBJ's vocals allowing the group to worship with some quieter music.

James P. Farney
(Guitar, Vocals) A real rocking guitar player, Jimmy joined NBJ in February of 2008. He also sings and more important he has a heart to reach the lost with music. He's an avid reader & loves to listen to music in his spare time. Jim has played in many Church ministries, recently performing with Elijah. We are so proud to have him aboard he is definitely an asset to the ministry and a brother that we hold dear to our hearts.

Rick Smith
(Sound Technician) In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire dims. For me it was then burst into flame by an encounter to gig with the NBJ brothers praising the Lord. I am so thankful for the opportunity where every event that brings us together rekindles my inner spirit! It is an amazing experience doing sound with this band. So lets go Rock and Roll for the Lord!
