NBJ

I sit at my desk on a beautiful Spring evening thinking about the last 6 years and where (and what) The NBJ Band has been & done. Sometimes only in retrospect can we as Christians see what kind of Fruit we have brought forth and how we have impacted the Kingdom of God. We have tried not to be silent, for the scriptures say if we don't praise Him the rocks will!

NBJ has shifted a bit towards the streets, the parks and the prisons, our favorite places to share to Gospel. While the coffeehouse ministries are great places to minister we hope to get out even more to the highways and bi-ways and street corners. Some people say Christ will return any day...maybe in the next 5 minutes...are you ready?

I think of a time before I ASKED Jesus to come into my life, to forgive all my sins and be the Lord of my life. As a new creature in Christ I began to read the Bible with a hunger to learn as much as I could about this God who sent his Son Jesus to die on the cross and rise from the dead once and for all that anyone who would believe in Him would receive things like peace, joy, friendship with other believers, love and freedom. The freedom to know that Christ dwells within me & that I'll never feel alone in my life. Oh yeah, we also get a place in heaven reserved for us. Now that is cool!

This type of sharing is what you will hear at an NBJ concert. We're simple men who have fallen deeply in love with our Creator & we're responding to the command to spread His Gospel to anyone who would hear it. Would you hear it today? Do you know Him?

Just ask Jesus to save you and forgive your sins (yes all of them). Ask him to come into your life, into the very fabric of it, and follow him for I have found in my own life He is the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE. Don't be afraid, seek out others and tell them what He is doing in your life. Find a church...Pray! Blessings to all!
